Diving deep, travelling afar…
Join Nicky and Ali for a special evening of listening, connecting and healing through sacred sound. Our special 2-hour sound journey (Dec 20th) weaves together Medieval harp with gongs, mantras and elemental instruments.
The winter solstice marks the longest night and a gradual return from dark to light. It is an opportunity to reflect upon the year to date, to reconnect with the cycles around and within ourselves, or simply take refuge from the externalising of the festive season.
We begin with meditation, toning together the three Celtic seed mantras, before settling into the journey. There is nothing more for you to do than set your intent and follow the sound.
Nicky’s mini soundscapes combine folk melodies and intuitive compositions on the Medieval harp. Its stringed song has been evoking remembrance and intrigue for hundreds if not thousands of years in the Celtic lands. The gongs, played by Ali, offer mysterious overtone washes which still the mind and balance the systems of the body. These ancient instruments of expanded consciousness symbolise the creative vastness of sound emerging from the primordial AUM.
We invite you to discover how, through sacred sound, we may be both transported away and dive deeply within.
The evening ends with our famous bedtime Chai and a chance to chat, share and ground.
