Join Kate and Ali for a morning of deep winter nourishment to restore your energetic reserves and release the festive pressures … much needed at this time when nature hibernates but our daily life speeds up!
Kate will guide you inwards through a short Yoga Nidra, before being immersed in the sacred sound of gongs, elemental instruments and mantras with Ali.
Yoga Nidra involves guided ‘rotation of consciousness’ and through 20 mins of this special type of deep relaxation you can gain the equivalent of 4 hours of sleep! The sound bath is a practise for deep relaxation, meditation and self healing; by simply letting go into the rich overtones washes of the gongs we can move towards inner silence and allow the body to deeply rest and repair.
No experience of sound healing or yoga is required. The practise will finish with tea and a chance to chat and ask questions. We look forward to sharing with you!
You will be laying down for over an hour so please bring:
Bolster (or pillows) for underneath your knees
Pillow
Eye pillow/ small scarf to shade your eyes
Blanket/s
Best to wear warm layers and socks as the body temperature may fluctuate with the energetic effects of the practise.
