6 week elemental sound immersion (online)

Welcome to this progressive six week course which will take you on a journey through the elements and their relation to mind, body, breath and sound. Delivered by live stream (zoom/ crowdcast) you can attend from wherever you are in the world.

Healing connection to the elements is shared across many of the great cultures, from Ayurveda to Celtic, and sound is one of the common threads across traditions. 

Each week we will share embodied practises of movement, breath, mudra and mantra relating to each of the five great elements: earth, water, fire, air, ether/ space. You then settle back into the sound journey where instruments such as gongs, crystal bowls, flutes and drums guide you into a meditative, self healing state. Additional sharing circles create space for community, growth and self reflection.

Afterwards you will be sent a recording of the practices so you can repeat and deepen in your own time, along with self inquiry around each element. Please note, to get the most out of the course you will need to allocate time for self practise and self study. Includes:

Who is this course suitable for?

Anyone who wishes to explore sacred sound on a deeper level than ‘drop in’ sessions allow.

What will I learn?

You will take away practical techniques of mudra, mantra, movement and breath related to the elements. As well as the experiential benefits of sound baths.

Is this course certificated?

No but many practitioners and yoga teachers join our courses for personal development, self care and deepening their spiritual practise.

What is the investment?

Do I have to attend every week?

To get the most out of the journey we recommend you attend all sessions live. Although recordings will be provided there is a lot of magic takes place in the group energy.

What technology do I need?

You will need to familiarise yourself with wetranfser, zoom and crowdcast. Recordings will be sent via wetransfer and it is your responsibility to save them within 7 days. You will need decent over ear headphones to make the most of the online sounds. We also have a whatsapp group for sharing but info can be sent via email if you prefer.

What other equipment will I need?

Yoga mat or something to move/ lay on, blanket/s, pillow, cushion/ bolster for under your knees, warm socks, eye pillow/ scarf (optional). It is best to wear loose, comfy layers.

Are there any contraindications for the practises?

Not suitable in first trimester pregnancy - please speak to me about later stages. Please also make contact before booking if you have a pacemaker, epilepsy, tinnitus or any other health concerns.
