Edinburgh’s wellbeing sanctuary, Santosa partners with guest gongstress Ali Gunning to offer an evening of healing sound, wholesome food & conscious community.
In Spring’s fresh days and lighter evenings, we make space for the beginning of a new cycle; it’s a time to re-connect with our intentions and with like-minded others.
The evening begins with our healing sound concert, followed by a short talk about sacred sound and its benefits.
The ‘sound bath’ is usually an eyes closed, laying in shavasana experience; a deep journey through healing sounds which restores the resonance of body, mind and spirit.
During our concert however, you can take a peek at how the vibrations emerge from these majestic instruments! Ali weaves together large planetary & symphonic gongs, conch shell, crystal bowls, Himalayan ‘singing’ bowls, elemental instruments, hang drum, her voice and shruti box.
Cocooned in the sounds, you can move into a place of deep relaxation or expanded consciousness. Feel free to sit, stretch out or curl up snugly with loved ones.
We nourish and ground you with a wholesome vegetarian menu created by Santosa’s chefs: seasonal sharing dishes and amazing raw desert. Supper provides an informal opportunity for questions and sharing.
Beautiful ancient singing bowls will be available for you to try and purchase during the evening.
Timings: 6.30 - 9pm. Investment: £26.50 (includes payment processing fees) for concert & supper OR £15.50 concert only
