Healing sounds & nature, outdoor sound bath

I am delighted to announce there will be a weekly sound bath in the healing garden of our home on The Lizard, Cornwall. We invite you to lay down among the wild flowers and twisting cherry and damson trees to receive 90 mins of healing sound among the song of birds and the rustle of leaves. The vibrations of gongs, singing bowls, ocean drum, shakers, conch shell and voice are absorbed into every part and cell of the body, unravelling tensions as you sink into the earth. As the brain waves slow, consciousness widens and deepens; many people experience deep relaxation, meditation or journeying. Sound is a powerful and ancient tool for self exploration and healing.

We will adhere to government guidelines (as of 1st June) for outdoor working: a small group of 6, socially distanced at all times and receiving sound healing without physical contact. To ensure hygiene and safety for all you will be required to bring ALL your own equipment, i.e.:

  • Your own yoga mat/s to lay on

  • Blankets, pillow and eye shade (I suggest a bolster or firm cushion under your knees too, especially if you have back issues)

  • Your own drinking water

  • Suncream/ hat if needed (there is some natural shade but please keep yourself safe from the sun)

  • Best to wear comfy warm layers and socks

Please note:

  • Gatherings will be weather dependent. Please ensure you put your mobile number on your booking in case we need to re-schedule.

  • Please leave space between eating a heavy meal and laying down to receive the sound.

  • A Corona Virus consent form will be sent to you and must be returned before attending.

  • If you are unwell, shielding or in quarantine please do not attend (full refunds will be given if your situation re this changes after booking).

  • If you are pregnant, have tinnitus, pace maker, epilepsy or metal implants from recent surgery please speak to me before booking.

  • There are are a multitude of birds and fledglings who we will share the space with - we live on a small country lane so there will be the occasional sound of cars and maybe a tractor or two. Please do not expect a silent space and be flexible to the soundscape around us which is beyond our control. If you are sensitive to insects or pollen please bring whatever you need to be comfortable.

  • Details of parking and address will be sent the day before we gather.
