Imbolc all night gong Puja - Cornwall - WAIT LIST ONLY

  • Boswedden house Cape Cornwall Street Penzance, England, TR19 United Kingdom (map)

The GONG PUJA, created by Don Conreaux is a transformational experience for both players and receivers. Bringing their bedding into the gong space, receivers spend the whole night in a cocoon of healing vibrations from 6 gongs, played continuously on rotation.

Booking is now open for receivers as well as a limited number of player participants ie those who already work with the gong (if you play the gong but haven’t played in a Puja before we can offer guidance and time to practise).

This sound ceremony celebrates the first sight or scent of Spring, the festival of imbolc, where we begin to emerge from winter and prepare the ground for new seeds of intention. We are blessed with an amazing venue, Boswedden House, next to the wild seas of cape cornwall, the most westerly point of the U.K. and affordable accommodation is available for those travelling from afar.

We gather for an opening circle with chanting, meditation & intention, then move into silence as the gongs begin to play. Please note the level of sound remains continuous through the night so you won't be shaken with tons of loud crescendos. Instead the gongs allow you to drift between states of consciousness.

After the gongs finish in the morning there will be a deep silence before guided integration (breathing/ stretching), a shared breakfast and closing/ sharing circle. Herbal teas, our special chai and (vegan) breakfast are provided but many people like to bring some food to share (vegi only please).

The space is very warm with underfloor heating. However please dress warmly in layers and be aware you will be laying on the floor through the night and the body temperature can fluctuate with the movements of energy (see below what to bring).
