We will gather round the fire and in the sound temple to share an alchemy of sacred cacao and sacred sound. These ceremonies are limited to six women creating an intimate, safe space for healing.

Cacao is a powerful plant medicine and superfood from the Mayan lands; the purest form of chocolate it is full of nutrients and mood enhancing chemicals. Mama cacao is known for opening and activating the heart and connecting us to our own body and the body of the earth. It stirs the fire and creativity of the soul within us.

We share a lovingly prepared elixir of pure, organic ceremonial cacao; sipping together mindfully and with intention. Practises such as toning, chanting, shaking and free movement activate the plant medicine within us. The evening closes with a short sound bath where ancient instruments like gongs, and drum wash over you, each cell receiving the nutrition of sacred sound. Guided sharing circles and grounding practises help us to fully absorb the experience. As well as honouring the roots of cacao we like to work with practises which honour this beautiful land we are in.

Contraindications for drinking cacao:

Cacao is not advised for those taking anti-depressants, anti-psychotics or if suffering from heart conditions, high blood pressure or serious illness. If you are pregnant, breast feeding or have low blood pressure please be in touch before booking - likewise if you know you are very sensitive to stimulating foods (cacao contains little caffeine but has other stimulating nutrients).

*It may sound unusual but you do not have to consume cacao at all - or you can do in a very small dose - to connect with the energy of the ceremony and practises.
