Resonant Renewal - Beltane mini retreat - London

  • stretch 6 Ada Street London, England, E8 4QU United Kingdom (map)

CHANTING - YIN YOGA - HEALING GONG BATH – LIGHT SUPPER – COMMUNITY
Hosted by Ali & Fran

As we emerge into Spring a new cycle of growth begins. Traditionally at Beltane (1st May in the Celtic calendar) ritual fire protects the fertility of the land and welcomes the nurturing light of the sun.

In this mini retreat we invite you to plant seeds of intention for the year ahead; to connect with the element of fire, symbolising will and transformation, as well as the renewing qualities of wood.

Flow of the day:

Our opening circle invites seasonal sharing and centring, before moving into a yin yoga sequence for the liver, gall bladder and digestion. The yin way is to surrender into the poses for longer, mindfully; stimulating the flow of life force to the vital organs. Ali then leads us through voice work & chanting to work with the inner elements. From here the gongs and other sacred sounds guide us into a theta wave state of meditation, healing & transformation.

We ground and chat over a light supper (raw, gluten free, plant-based & organic) created by Moody Mango Raw Cuisine. Eating consciously and consuming fresh ingredients in line with the seasons is the basis for the body to renew and heal itself. Our May menu includes vegan pasta, raw cheesecake incorporating light seasonal fruits and a warming medicinal tonic.

The day concludes with a closing & sharing circle (speaking is always optional). We’ll send you home with a practise & recipe card for the season so you may continue this work at home.

Resonant Retreats is all about creating conscious connections with the seasons, self and like minded community. Regaining our natural resonance through yoga, sound & food. All are welcome!
