You will find below the yoga practise as video and the sound journey audio which is also downloadable onto your device’s audio library e.g. itunes. The sound journey works best with headphones or decent speakers and ideally you have the volume at 50-70%, it really doesn’t have to be loud to be effective, in fact the body likes moderate volume.
A yoga practise focused on pleasure with yin, restorative, somatic style movement with ujjayi ocean breath.
Deepening practise
I recommend that you include some simple and intuitive self massage in your yoga practise this week - feet, jaw, belly. Maybe before/ after having a shower/ bath massage with some lovely warming oils (sesame is a good base for grounding). One of my favourite oils to mix in is the Tisserand Goodnight blend.
In your yoga practise focus on ‘what feels good’, kind of evolving ‘what do I need today’. Tune into the micro movements or micro places of pleasure rather than trying to get somewhere or focus on the tightness/ blockages/ how it used to be. Luxuriate in those moments. It’s not just what we do but how we do it …
