First Sparks - Imbolc day retreat (Copy)

  • Roselidden Farm Helston TR13 0PT (map)

Join us for a day of healing practises and inner explorations celebrating the Celtic festival of Imbolc, officially the ‘first sparks of Spring’. A time of vitality stirring under the surface into gentle emergence, like the snowdrops. We will gently thaw our minds and bodies in preparation for the cleansing, hopeful energies of moving fully into Spring. Knowing that February can often feel the hardest month it is a wonderful time to gather with like-minded others and re-ignite our self care.

We open our day together with tea, welcome meditation and sharing circle then move into a yin yoga practise focusing on deep restoration of the body’s vitality. Through yin’s simple shapes, held for longer in a soft and surrendering way with breath awareness, you are able to then receive the healing vibrations of gongs, crystal bowls and elemental instruments more deeply, into each and every cell. We pause for a hearty shared lunch (fully plant based and GF) then head our onto the land for voice work and walking meditation. Then it’s back to the long barn to share a yoga nidra (deep rest of mind and body), tea and closing circle.
