Restorative yoga workshop with gong

Join us for an afternoon of deep relaxation in the delightful setting of Cross Hall, in the Mendips.

Treat yourself to some time out this summer, come to a beautiful setting deep in the fresh air and birdsong of the Mendips, yet only a short drive from Bristol and Weston-super-Mare. Why not ask about car share? It's a great way to get to know people better.

The hall is an old school building with a vaulted ceiling and wooden floors. It has a very calm feeling about it. Parking is easy and free along the side of the road and there are several lovely walks in the vicinity, ranging from an easy stroll along the river bank to a full on hike up to Crook peak. Why not combine some fresh air activities with your Yoga session? Join Emma for Yoga and enjoy gentle sounds with guest performer Ali Gunning.

We'll welcome you with a refreshing herb tea from about 2.15pm and begin with a slow and gentle flowing yoga sequence to loosen up your limbs. Soon, we'll be using the bolsters for support to deepen into some easeful restorative poses which can help to release deep seated tensions in the body and the mind. Ali will accompany our practice with the transcendent sound of the crystal bowls, creating a sound journey for a truly uplifting experience.

We'll close the practice with a Gong Bath This is a real treat for us to experience the resonating power of the gong, do come along if you can...

As always, places are very limited and early booking is essential - £15 in advance please
