Autumn Sacred Sound Immersion

  • Resonant Being Crowns Cottage, Manaccan Helston TR12 6HY (map)

Would you like to spend a whole day in the sound temple - playing, receiving, exploring the ancient art of sound healing?

As we descend into Autumn, join us for a joyful, playful and hands-on exploration of sacred sound - sound with a healing intent, sound which leads us towards inner silence. Our immersion days are always popular and places are limited to 4 at this time.

You’ll learn some foundational techniques of playing gongs and singing bowls (crystal/ himalayan) and explore how these instruments work therapeutically. We also bring in the voice (mantra/ toning) and you’ll take away a powerful sound meditation to use for self healing, even if you don’t yet have bowls or gongs of your own.

We begin with some gentle morning movement and a sound journey (facilitated by Ali), then for the rest of the day you will alternate between playing and receiving in pairs, as well as working with the voice as a group.

Many people come because they have been experiencing sound baths for some time and want to deepen their understanding. Others want to have confidence in self healing with sound or sharing this gift with their loved ones. No singing or sound experience is required, although those working with sound are most welcome to attend as CPD. The immersion does not serve as a certificated sound healing/ therapy qualification but would be a good introduction to choosing a course.

The immersion takes place in our sound temple at our home on The Lizard peninsula near Helford. Accommodation is also available for those travelling from afar. A light lunch, teas and snacks are included in the price.

Please speak with us before booking if you are pregnant, have tinnitus, pace maker, epilepsy, metal implants from recent surgery or with any other health concerns.
