What does the autumn equinox mean to you? Just a few things that spring to mind for me are embracing the polarities, listening, grounding and connecting with gratitude for all that we have harvested. Autumn Equinox occurs when day and night are briefly in balance; however you are feeling at this time we will pause and attune to self nourishment and self reflection ahead of winters deeper, darker, more yin energies.
These cyclical retreats are held at our home and sound temple on the Lizard Peninsula and limited to four people creating a deeply intimate and powerful day.
The retreat opens with tea, meditation and sharing. Our yin yoga practise provides a space for introspection and interoception; taking our time in simple grounding postures, each a micro meditation. Through yin’s opening and stillness you are able to receive the healing vibrations of gongs, crystal bowls and elemental instruments more deeply, into each and every cell. We pause for a simple shared lunch (fully plant based - GF available). Then it’s out into nature for a silent woodland walk and optional swim. We return to the sound temple for cacao, yoga nidra and sharing circle.
